But the last place anyone would think to find him is in a dress, wig and heels, living as a woman. What starts out as a trick to beat the system ends up changing Butch forever. Featuring risky surgeries, sex work, family dysfunction, activism and falling in love, Gloria's life is one that must be seen to be believed. Fasten your seatbelt. Robyn Symon, a two-time Emmy award-winning writer/producer and former Senior with PBS based in Miami debuted in the indie film arena, producing, directing and editing the feature documentary "Transformation: The Life & Legacy of Werner Erhard" " about one of the most controversial cultural figures of the human potential movement. At its New York premiere, "Transformation" broke the box office record and acquired for distribution by Screen Media Films. Symon's film, "Behind the Blue Veil" about the war on terror in North Africa was used as a teaching tool for cultural understanding by the United Nations and picked up for international distribution by Journeyman Pictures. Symon has been honored with numerous national awards including two Emmys, Tellys and has produced dozens of programs for various television networks. She currently produces a national TV series "Nancy O'Dell Remembers for the Reelz Channel.
