Love, sex, marriage… prison. Captive Hearts follows seven women on the outside who fall in love, get married, have conjugal visits, become pregnant, and remain devoted to their incarcerated men. The couples maintain their relationships, facing many of the same problems we all do, except they must do it while separated by bars. Through intimate interviews, letters, and unprecedented access, this moving documentary sheds light on these unusual and often challenging relationships.
