Synopsis

Through interviews with Larry King, rare footage and commentary from America’s foremost sexologists, the film explores Xaviera’s rise and fall, her deportation from the United States and her political significance to the Feminist Movement, women everywhere in the western world, and the Sexual Revolution of the 1970’s. During a recent book tour in Bulgaria an interviewer confessed, ‘I learned English by reading THE HAPPY HOOKER!’ Xaviera’s revolutionary masterpiece about the exploits of a call girl who became the world’s most famous madam is now in it’s 28th printing, having sold over 20 million copies. Nineteen books followed that cultural touchstone. Ms. Hollander’s column for Penthouse Magazine, – ‘Call Me Madam’ – has kept her in the public spotlight for over 35 years.

Dunlap has appeared in numerous industrial films and has been featured as an expert on NATION’S BUSINESS, SONYA LIVE, CNN, SPIKE-TV’S MANswers 2008 and more. Recently he was a featured guest on SIRIUS RADIO and is a popular guest on live talk radio shows.
